Vegas night spots
Three friends going to Vegas for a long weekend in April. Staying at the Rio. I thought I saw where one of the hot spots was a bar at the Rio (on an upper floor?). Can anyone comment on some of the fun places for the 30 something crowd? Not looking for meat markets, just places to hang out and have a good time.
Thanks!
Take care,

If you want to catch some live music in a fun atmosphere, The Carnival Court at Harrah's is usually pretty lively. I'm sure Jimmy Buffett's at the Flamingo is fun for those into that scene.
You might just want to ask at your hotel as some places are probably better on certain nights than others.

not sure what exactly you are looking for but there are a lot of spots in Vegas to have some drinks - House of Blues, Rumjungle and Red Square all in the Mandalay Bay are pretty cool. Caesar's has Shadow and a new club that just opened (can't think of the name). Monte Carlo has a microbrewery. The whole casino at the Hard Rock (its circular with a big bar in the middle) is like a big party. There are many more out there - these are just some I am familiar with.
