70's disco or old skool R&B club in Vegas?

hi all,

looking for a great weekend club that specializes in 70's disco and/or old skool R&B club in Las Vegas. Have a group of about 20 people in the 40-50 age group that want to party. Live bands OK,a s well. Any suggestions?

House of Blues at Mandalay Bay might have what you want. On different nights, they have different themes. I believe it changes so you might check their website.

For a really fun time, the Carnival Court at Harrah's is always really lively. They usually have bands and it always seems crowded. For a totally unique Vegas experience, go there when Cook E. Jarr is playing. He's a Vegas lounge act legend! (Believe he plays Friday and Saturday nught.)

P.S. Ignore any advice to go en mass to Downtown for the Fremont Experience. It's not particularly impressive, versus what can be seen on most stadium scoreboards.

I can say that the best bands I've ever heard in Vegas were at The VooDoo Lounge at The Rio.

Although I haven't gone in over a year, Studio 54 at the MGM Grand plays almost all 70s-early 80s music.

thanks for the responses so far. I've actually heard of Studio 54, but have heard others say that they play quite a bit of techno/trance type music. Not really into that.....
