guest ranches in Idaho?
Working our way back to Salt Lake City and will be driving through Idaho. Any ideas on where to stay? Would love some sort of guest ranch. Will be with kids.Any ideas? Plus, can anyone recommend a place to stay in Salt Lake City the night before we fly home? Would like one last nice/fun/scenic or anything other than just an airport hotel on our last night.

sincle nights at a guest ranch are hard to find (most book by th e week). But if your route goes near Stanley (north of Sun Valley), I have heard very good things about Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch:

As for Salt Lake, if your flight is noon or later, you could easily stay in nearby Park City (about 30 minutes from the airport) for something fun and scenic. Park City is a mining town turned ski resort; there is a lovely historic downtown area with great restaurants. Summer rates at the hotels there are great.

Thanks for your help. Turns out we have to return our RV the night before we leave so we're going to have to be a cab ride away from the airport. Knowing that, any other ideas?
Also, with regards to my Idaho request...basically, it's just coming out of my concern for our drive back to SLC from Mammoth Springs(where our Yellowstone journey ends) - how do we get back to SLC with one night to spare staying over somewhere. I've heard the drive straight back through Idaho is "dismal" so I'm wondering what else we can do.
