Great durable, lightweight luggage?

Hi - my luggage is about to die. Any opinions on great strong, but lightweight luggage these days?? I need two 26" suitcases.

Thanks, sue

We've had very good luck with our Atlantic pieces.

Go to Target, K-Mart, or other discount store. You'll find plenty to choose, and at bargain prices compared to the fancy name brands. And it will last just as long, if you take the time to make sure that the quality appears to be what you want. I might be in the minority, but I think name brand luggage is a ripoff. Good luck.

The Kirkland brand available at Costco is a very good value, but I don't know if it's considered lightweight.

I agree with Wayne. My luggage is Atlantic, and it's wonderful, with one exception. The frame, that I thought was so terrific, makes the luggage much too heavy! My suitcase weighs 14# empty.

Check out ebags.com; good selection, good prices, especially when there's a sale on something.

Another vote for Atlantic.

My really expensive Travelpro wheel stopped functioning after her first journey!

Happy Shopping,
