Gilroy Garlic Festival

Hi,

I haven't seen any recent posts on this festival and any advice would be appreciated (other than "Don't go!"). I'll be in Big Sur Friday night and was wondering the best way, with least traffic delays, to get to the Garlic Festival on Saturday. Any other tips?

Thank you!

Tip #1 Try the garlic ice cream. I hear it's good.

Tip #2 - Take lots of Tic-Tacs. :-"

We were at the Garlic Festival 2 yrs. ago. We stayed in Gilroy, so we went right when it opened and the traffic was'nt bad. Don't know about later in the day. The longest line was to get tickets. Check if you can buy tickets online before you go. Definitely have the garlic french fries, YUM!
