Getting from LaGuardia to Theatre District?

Scheduled to get into LaGuardia about 3:30pm on a thursday in October - airline changed flight time on me. Need to get to the theater District in a timely fashion - not so much into subway or bus - just want to get to hotel and to the theater.

Suggestions for transportaion of husbby and me - regular cab or what??

Just walk outside of the terminal and the cabs will be lined up.

If you want to organize a car service you wil know the price in advance - go to web sites or Dial 7 or Carmel to see if they have coupons. You call and tell them your info - then call when you get of the plane.

Or, you can just grab a cab. May be slightly more depending on how bad traffic is.

Here is another option that my M-I-L uses when she visits. She finds it convenient. SuperShuttle Manhattan (800) 258-3826

I simply will not use SuperShuttle in NYC. While it's a good service in other cities, I've had nothing but negative experiences (and also you often have to wait 30 minutes or more for a shuttle when arriving at the airport). Not a good option for timely transfers.

From LGA, a regular taxi is always the best option for a pick-up. It's almost always cheaper than a car service (unless you are arriving during rush hour and might get stuck in traffic). Traffic could be heavy when you get into Manhattan, but I'd still take a taxi.

I'm with Doug--do not use SuperShuttle since you might ride around forever. PLUS for two people a taxi won't cost that much more than paying for two people in a shuttle.

Could take 30 minutes could take longer, depending on the traffic.
