Gershwin Theatre seats-Row ZZ, orchestra

I found some tickets on e-bay to see Wicked in NY for a sat night performance. They are $200 for the pair (which seems pretty good to me). Row ZZ, centre orchestra. Have never been to the theatre, but know this is the last row. Just wondering if they are TOO far back, or just fine for the price?

The Gershwin is huge and row ZZ sounds way too far from the stage. You'll do better at TKS on 47th Street.

IF you want to see Wicked, I would grabe those tickets, you won't find Wicked up at TKTS yet, it is still a sold out show most nights.

I would prefer to be in the mezz than in the last row of the orchestra. JMHO.

You can find a detailed seating chart at www.discoverbroadway.com.

I doubt you'd find discount tickets at the Tkts booth or many other places for Wicked.

One advantage is that Wicked is a big show with a large cast and sets. You'd be able to take in the entire scene if you were sitting farther back.

Some action takes place above the stage deck. If it's important that you don't miss anything, you may want to make sure that the balcony overhang doesn't block the top of the procenium. You may want to ask the seller or call the Gershwin before you bid.
