Gaylord Palms - Orlando

I will be staying here for a meeting for 8 days. Since there are 4 different types of rooms to stay in - Key West, St. Augustine, Everglads & Emerald Bay, I was curious to know from those who have stayed before which they preferred.

Thank You!

We stayed there for an IBM conference and the rooms are really all the same. They are just in different areas of this huge resort http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylordpalms/

If you don't have a car you'll be board after 3 days.

Two of the big atrium sections tend to get used to host loud private parties during conventions; the third (by the steakhouse) will probably be a bit quieter.

We were just there for 4 nights in March. We started out in the Key West section which we did not like at all. The rooms had a musty/fishy smell, dirty looking carpets, and if you have an atrium room, it is quite noisy with the Key West bar there. We switched rooms to the Everglades section, and the rooms were much better there.Same size but nicely decorated. They charged $40 more for an atrium room with balcony, but it was well worth it. This section is closest to the gym, adult pool and spa. I have pictures posted on Tripadvisor along with my review.

Thank you all for your input - exactly what I was looking for.

I will be working so being bored unfortuantely will not be an option - I will have very little time to myself and when I do all I need is some fresh air!
