Front of line -Universal Studios LA worth it?
I was wondering we are going to universal studios, LA in March. With all the spring breakers do you think it is worth the extra money to purchase front of the line passes? The cost is 80.00 for each pass.

When we visited Universal FL in HOT June, I was quite jealous of those with passes. I think I was just tired of standing out in the heat though.
We don't stand in the regular line. For free, we get in the Singles Only line. This saves lots of waiting time.

I am unsure at the Universal LA one, but I have purchased the Universal Orlando one and it was great. We waited a max of 10 minutes for each ride. People said the lines were 2 or 3 hours long. I wouldn't go unless i purchased the skip the lines pass. It is expensive but defiently worth it. Just my two cents! :0)

I went to Universal in LA 6 or 7 years ago and there wasn't an unreasonable line for anything as I recall. Maybe it was just the time of year. But now hearing that people are waiting 2-3 hours for an attraction just shocks me.
I guess I feel like an old grump, but there aren't many things on earth that I'd stand in the hot sun for 3 hours for. An attraction at at theme park certainly isn't one of them. Sometimes I wonder why so many people flock to parks to stand in line and fight the crowds. Are the attractions that thrilling to them?
Not to criticize those who do it, I just don't get it at all. To each her own I guess.

Yes - worth it. I went to Universal LA for their Halloween event and regrettably didn't buy the front of the line tickets. After standing in line for an hour I would have gladly paid the extra $$ for it... by then it was too late. Next time I will. You'll see more in less time if the $ isn't an issue.
