Universal Studios Hollywood - Front of the line pass worth it?

Is the "front of the line pass" at Universal worth the extra $136 for my family of four for one day? I notice you can only use the pass twice at rides and once on shows. Seems a little steep, especially considering it's $180 base admission for four.

I would say no. When will you be in town, The last time I was there it was slow. For only three attractions it seems a bit steep. I would forget it.

Mark:

Why don't you stay at the Hard Rock, or one of the hotels "on site?" Then you can have "front of the line" access all the time, any time. We were there last Easter, and it was a life saver!

The California Universal Studios doesn't have a Hard Rock Hotel.

That seems like an outrageous price for the front of the line.

THis is the first I have heard of this. How ridiculous is it that you have to pay an enormous amount for admission, but then you have to pay extra to cut to the front of the line.
