from Midway to Loop with baby/bags

I must say I have not looked into miles or shuttles or things like that yet. Just wanted to know if anyone had ideas about how to get to the hotel (Priceline gave us Club Quarters.) We were not going to rent a car. Would you take subway? cab? Shuttle? Thanks!

Definitely don't rent a car! It's a liability in Chicago, with bad traffic and exorbitant parking fees. A cab will be much easier than any of the other options for you, with all you have to lug about.

We stayed at the Club Quarters (on Priceline) about two years ago. It was a perfectly fine property (and good location) - but...we had about the teensiest room I've ever had in a hotel. If I were you, I'd phone the hotel and let them know you'll be travelling with a wee one to try to assure that you get a decent-sized room.

Don't take the subway from the airport unless you can safely manage long flights of stairs with everything you have to carry. For your arrival trip, a cab is easiest, considering.

During your stay, you may want to try the subway/El or buses. Both Club Quarters are convenient to El lines (the one on Adams is practically on top of the El train - ask for a quiet room!)
Which Club Quarters are you staying at?

Wonderful! Thanks. We will take a cab. Any idea on price? And thanks for the Club Quarters tip. I will call.
