Frisco/Breckenridge Colorado

Will be staying in the Frisco/Breckenridge area this weekend (Labor Day Weekend) - where are the must eats and must sees? Thank you so much for your opinions!

I don't spend much time in Breck but the Blue Spruce in Frisco is a great little place. They feature continental cuisine with a variety of game dishes as well. Be sure to ask for the "original" dining room as it is a small log cabin that's quite intimate and romantic. The newer addition is nice too, but it has a wide open lodge-type feel to it.

If you go to thebluespruce.com and click on "menu" and "classics" you'll get an idea of what they offer.

Have fun!

Hi Hep. We recently had great Tapas at Cafe Alpine in Breck. I have heard mixed reviews about the place but have to say that when we were there is was really great. All we had were the Tapas in the bar. 2nd the suggestion of The Blue Spruce.

Another favorite is Ski Tip Inn in Keystone an easy drive over swan mtn rd from Breck you will need reservations though.

Last weekend, I ate at a little place in Frisco called the Uptown Bistro. It was great and priced reasonably.

There is a little hole in the wall off of the main street in Breckenridge called Rasta Pasta. It is cheap and excellent.

gb, for years Uptown was a favorite of ours, then last year a couple of times we were there it was filthy, glad to hear that they got their act together. How was the service?

Went to The Blue Spruce on Friday night and have to say that it was one of the best restaurants I have eaten at lately! Excellent food, great service. Thank you for your recommendation!

Hep-
Did you see the hilton valdoro lodge while you were there? And if so, what was it like?
Heading there in December.
Thanks.

Blue Spruce has been consistently good for years. Don't miss it.
