Rave: The *real* Freaky Friday R & R is here!

Rave: Off to Las Cruces in a few minutes for the college graduation of a great young man who is on his way to vet school.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Rave -- went to great community choir show last Sunday...gorgeous music, top level performance...a preview of what they'll be doing at Carnegie Hall this June.

Rant -- the 2 sets of parents who brought their fussy toddlers to the show (instead of getting babysitters) and then wouldn't take them outside when they started acting up. One parent decided instead to let him play with his Leapfrog reader toy...an electronic gizmo that reads OUT LOUD with the child (grrrrr)...the parents ignored all the glares and dagger-eyed looks people were turning around to give them. They (the parents) were better behaved after intermission...some of the volunteers involved w/choir had a talk with them about all the complaints they got (from audience and choir members).

Thank you thank you thank you LoveItaly

I don't usually post on FFRR but now I feel challenged

Rave: it's good to be alive! Got a bad test with that dreaded 6-letter C-word on horizon. The 2nd test is cancer-free. The 3rd one will be in July.

Rave: LoveItaly's support through all the means of correspondence.

Rave: my vacation in Switzerland fits in great between those 2 tests! Somebody tell them to make more cheese! and ice-cream!

Rave: my older son is "an employee of a quarter". Not of a month, not of a year, but a quarter. How weird is that! But there is a bonus of $1,000 coming along with this, so who cares!

Rave: only 12 calendar days till Switzerland!

Rave: only 8 business days till Switzerland!

Rant: only 12 days, and so much preparation still left. Didn't do anything because of those down days waiting for those test results.

Rave: did I mention I'm going to Switzerland Where do they sell lederhosen in San Francisco?
