Rave: I'm back on the fitness bandwagon! Have eaten healthy & appropriate portions & gone to the gym this week. Looking forward to loosing a little weight. Bonniebroad - you're an inspiration to my perspiration!

Rave: Dear friend & his new wife are moving from Rome to Miami for a couple years, perfect chance to visit them in SOBE, and invite them to NYC! It'll be nice to have them in our time zone for a change too!

Rave: No plans for this weekend except for friend's 2 year old's birthday party on Sunday!

Tiny Rant: DH will surely have a long list of house projects for me to help him with by the time I get home tonight. (He has summer hours!)

Rave: Our house & yard are looking great from all the projects we've already completed!

Rave: no more momma nor baby rattlers.

Rave: finally getting to the Kimbell in Ft Worth for the Caravaggio to Dali tomorrow with lunch @ Bistro Louise before leaving.
Rant: the coffee bean grinder literally exploded this AM.
Rant: clueless journalists who continue to report that celiac disease/sprue is "rare".
Rave: my "wattle" will soon be gone.
Rave: declassified docs confirmed what we knew: my college classmate and "nextdoor" neighbor for three semesters was "Remit-31" v Qaddafi/Libya in '86 - the very brave USAF flight leader who took the clumsy F-111's in a couple of iterations - way around (our allies) Spain and France - both of whom refused air space fly over.
Rant: I can no longer get hops on TA4's, F-8's, F-14's nor F 18's - age related, lol.
Rave: Judicial Watch - our only hope for preserving FREEDOM in the US.
Rave: Greyhound Rescue organizations nationwide - GHs are the very best!
Rant: attorneys running for public office: the very worst!

Rave: This weekend is my annual college "reunion". A bit like The Big Chill meets Burning Man.

Rant: The leaves are turning colors more and more every day. Sheesh, it started two weeks ago. Summer just didn't happen this year.

Rave: It's better than hurricanes. I'm so concerned about those affected by Charley - especially the elderly.

Rant: My son is growing up too fast. One morning he comes in and cuddles up with us in bed with his ripped, old blankie, and the next day I find a picture of Paris Hilton in his bedroom. He's almost 13!

Rave: Eight days until a week in a beautiful beach house in Cape Cod. I just can't wait for a full week of relaxation!

Rant: It was chilly today.

Rave: We were at the beach 3 days ago and it was warm and beautiful!
