Kaudrey, Have you ever attended the City Of Alexandria birtday party? Great show if you can make it tomorrow night. We used to go every year while in FF Sta. Now, with all that traffic down there, it's too much of a hassle to drive from the valley.

I'm celebrating the use of my 3rd box of Kleenex for my "wunny noshe".
AAHHH-CHOOOOOOOO!

I hope I'm practicing "safe i'net" by wiping down my k'board and monitor so nobody here catches it. C

Rant: Our upcoming cruise on the Pride of Aloha is getting wretched reviews. NCL is the only cruise line touring the islands alone.

Rave: I was able to book seven, yes, seven tickets using frequent flier miles on AA for our 10 year anniversary trip. =D>

travelinwifey: Ah, forget the cruise reviews- WHAT A COUP ON THE 10 YR ANNIVERSARY TRIP! Anyone who has ever booked more than 2 frequent flyer tickets at a time certainly gets the impact of your statement. Do tell the details- where are you going, and how exactly were you able to secure what is possibly the plane's capacity for FF seats? Perhaps your story is best posted on the Airlines board, but give us a taste here before you go there, ok?

Hello Emd, here's the scoop. It all happened quite innocently. I was looking to book myself, hubby, BIL/family, and inlaws for our 10 year anniversary celebration (cruise again) flying Las Vegas to Miami. I had checked prices which happened to be quite steep, around $400pp direct for our dates. We are treating since we never had a big wedding and wanted to do something special to celebrate our happiness. AA had the best schedule.

Well, it just happened to hit me a few days later that we had lots of AA miles that we have yet to use. So I try booking 3 seats for BIL, SIL, and niece-and viola, it works. The baa baas were running out of my mouth. Now I went to try the the other four of us and again, booked easily. I even got to pick our seats and we're all close to each other! We saved $2800.

One useful bit info is that we booked direct through AA.com. Easy as apple pie.

I hope that you can luck out like that some day in the future Emd >< Thanks for asking!
