I notice nobody has answered your post, so I guess I'll be the one to break it to you. There are no babes in Ft. Myers. It's all old retired folks. Maybe you could volunteer your time in a retirement home.

CF, when was the last time you went to Ft. Myers Beach over spring break? There are hundreds of college aged kids -- Daytona it ain't, but it sure isn't all retired people either!!! However, a__dog, most of the "action" revolves around the bars which require an ID. I'm not sure what a 16 year old will do. Maybe someone will have an idea for you.

I know CF was teasing you big time. I was in Ft. Myers non spring break time and there are tons of kids. I am an "old lady" so I am unsure of these kids ages. There is a boardwalk of some sort, and many young kids. I am sure without a doubt you will have a good time. You can always utilize your time with "family bonding." That is not a bad idea either you know. Have fun and be safe.

My sister lives in Ft. Myers Beach and I always take my son down during spring break week. The bulk of the young people activity during daylight hours is at Ft. Myers Beach. Lots of variety for activities and the major one for northerners is getting a tan or more frequently burned. Evening will be tougher, as these posters are right in that you are still in an area that is predominantly older people. Try to talk to someone on the beach. We've always gone putt putt golfing in a group, caught a movie, etc. It's not Pompano or Ft. Lauderdale, but the weather has been perfect for the beach the last couple of weeks. Have fun.

The Red Sox play in downtown Ft myers, their season is almost over but maybe you can catch a game. They are probably sold out but they sell standing room seats and people may be selling tickets outside. Lots of fun.
