Fodor's for Dummies: help me find my reply!

O.K., I should know this by now, but ... I typed a reply to someone's question, then clicked on "Preview My Message". I was hoping to save my reply, but not send it, because I needed to verify some information. Now that I have the infomation I need, I don't know how to find my "unsent" reply. Please help!

I'm going to think that it is gone. You may have to retype it. There is no editing provision here. You can click preview, look at it and change it at that time but you can not go back. Have you clicked your name to see the threads you have posted to?

If it is the Sonoma thread. Both are there already. Too late to edit. LMF

Chicgal and LilMsFoodie: Thanks so much for your help. I managed to find my reply by going to the original message, typing something in the "post a reply" box, and clicking on "preview my reply." The entire thread, and BOTH of my recent posts were in the column to the left. Looks like you're not allowed to edit anything but the last one, but I right-clicked on the whole thread and sent it to my e-mail address, so at least I have a copy and can re-type it.

I really appreciate the quick replies. (P.S. -- It wasn't the Sonoma thread. I had already posted both of those replies without previewing them. Thanks again.)

Gardyloo: Will clicking on my own name take me back to a reply I have previewed, even though I temporarily "left" the Fodors screen to go to another website?

No, I don't think it will.
I think you lost it. It has happened to me before, always when you write something long and do not want to lose! and then you lose it.
Sorry

Clicking your name won't get you back to a lost/unposted message, but the back button on your toolbar sometimes will.

I've lost enough messages prior to posting that I now copy it before hitting preview or post my reply.
