Fly into JFK or LaGuardia??
We have a choice of flying into either JFK or LaGuardia Aiport in NY in June (mid-week). We will be going right into the city. We have flown into Newark, NJ before but not tried to get from either JFK or LaGuardia into the City. Which would be the easiest as far as getting into the City...and the cheapest? Thanks.

LaGuardia would be the easier, faster, and cheaper of the 2.
At certain times (mostly in the AM, before 10am), it can be worth it to pay the extra $4.50 in tolls at the Midtown tunnel. But this is not always the case.

There are a million posts on this. Cab fare (for up to 4 people) from JFK nto the city is a flat fare of $45 plus tip and toll for a total of about $60.
Cab fare from LGA to midtown is in the $25 to $30 range - plus tip and toll - to midtown - depending on traffic.
So - really a minimal difference.

It was $200 to fly into LGA??? From where are you traveling and what's the price to JFK? $200 is nothing for airfare.
As nytraveler says, LGA is closer to Manhattan by about $25 and maybe 15-20 mins. by cab.
