Flights LAX to Kaua'i
Hi all. We're travelling from the UK in January for two weeks in Kaua'i, our first time in Hawaii. We're able to get BA FF flights to Los Angeles and wondered about flights from there to the island. Are they available direct or do we have to go via Honolulu?

Check Hawaiian
http://www.hawaiianairlines.com
and
Aloha http://www.alohaairlines.com/
(not sure if Aloha serves LAX)
Both running specials right now.
Good hunting, Kauai will certainly beat January in UK

Check www.airtohawaii.com. They are reputable and have great airfares.

assuming that you will not overnight in LAX and you fly BA 283 LHR-LAX at 11:55 arriving in LAX at 14:55, your first connecting option to LIH directly is AA 285 at 17:10 arriving in LIH at 21:14
If you fly BA 269 at 15:10 arriving in LAX at 18:10 then you have to overnight in LAX and flying to LIH next day with UA 069 at 13:00 arriving at 16:54, then the next is the same AA 285 at 17:10 !!
Have a nice trip !!

I would urge you to consider a day (or 2) in LA before continuing on. That will be an extreeeeeemely long flight and the LAX to LIH flight is also very long. Give your body a chance to catch up.
