Flights from New York LGA to Binghampton?

Hello. I'm trying to find a flight from LaGuardia to Binghampton, NY and can't seem to find any direct flights. Does anybody know of any small carriers that would make the flight? When I use sites like travelocity, etc. they come up with crazy scenarios. Thanks in advance.

There are only flights to Washington, Philadelphia and Detroit

You may be able to fly to Ithaca

There are no direct flights - only roundabout routings with 1 or 2 stops from any NYC area airport to Binghamton. Have you looked at buses (doubt it would take as long as those ridiculous flight schedules).

Binghampton is too small and close to NYC for direct flights. No airline wants to use a limited landing slot for such a flight out of LGA. There are some flights on USAir express from PHL. Maybe also a commuter plane from Detroit on NWA.

There is frequent bus service (see www.coachusa.com) from Manhattan - that would be your best bet from NYC.

Make sure when you're searching that you spell it correctly--Binghamtom-- no p. flights anywhere within the state, if/when available, are expensive. You might consider driving--parts of the trip are very lovely. It's probably around a 4-hour drive like the bus and all highway driving if you prefer that. I don't know what you're plans on there, but you'll probably need a car to get around anyway.

Besides Ithaca ( 57 mi ) there is also an airport in Elmira (65 mi)
