Flagstaff: Drury Inn or Little America?

Which is the best choice for location, comfort, and dining options.

How are you traveling HTTY? Maybe this will help.http://www.flagstaffarizona.org/staying_cabins.html
There is a Grand Canyon Hostel if you are traveling solo.

We stayed at Drury Inn. We liked the location and the big room.

The relatively new Drury Inn is on the NW corner of Northern Arizona University's campus, next to the conference center. It's short drive or longer walk to downtown, if that's what you're interested in. It's also closer to the road leading out of town to the Grand Canyon. Little America has been around awhile, and is not near downtown. It's nice enough but if you are headed to the GC or want to be closer to downtown or the university, go with the Drury Inn.

Little America is more of a self-contained complex. As CleoB indicates, it's not really near "where the action is," but is generally regarded to be one of Flagstaff's nicer hotels. It has dining facilities on-site, and a few off-site, such as Cracker Barrel, etc. The Drury is more centrally located and as such more accessible to the downtown area, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. A client of mine recently stayed there and was satisfied with her experience. That being said, these 2 properties are not the only ones worth considering. Here's info on more hotels ->: http://bit.ly/zGuas4

I'd definitely choose the Drury Inn due to its proximity to Flagstaff's downtown area and that area's interesting dining options.
