FL Golf Vacation - Help!

Some friends and I were planning a quick golf trip to Tampa in July. We had planned to stay at Innisbruck and also play at World Woods. We just found out that two of the courses will be closed when we are supposed to be there (Copperhead and Rolling Oaks), so we need to find some place else. Any suggestions about places that are within 4-5 hour drive of Miami? I'm looking for a nice resort with nice courses or at least nice courses nearby. I'm considering Orlando (Grand Cypress). All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you considered Palm Beach County? There are endless golf courses and is home to most top golfers.

So, does this mean that you have ruled out "The Boardwalk or GF" or some other "Disney Resort"???( see your proir post) For some reason, I thought that you were tied to a "Disney Resort". If not, then PGA National in WPB wld fit your bill as wld Doral in Miami.
