Family vacation in Destin, Florida beach house??

For my birthday, my husband and I are looking for a beach front house to rent for ourselves, our son and daughter-in-law, and their 3 year old. I have found a lot of rental websites, but would appreciate any suggestion from people who might have done something similar. I think we would need 3 bedrooms. We would love it to be on the beach, with perhaps a pool. It's a special birthday so I would love for it to be special and memorable for everyone. I have looked at AIRBNB too, but not much luck. Also, any recommendations for young children in the Destin area? Thank you in advance. We are going the first week in October.

You should look at VRBO or use one of the local real estate agencies. Personally, I would stay somewhere east of Destin, like Grayton Beach.

Can you please clarify your question. I don't understand what you are asking.

Do you mean a state other than Florida or other parts of Florida?

Yeah, I'm sorry, but I still don't understand your question. Will you be in Destin, Florida? Are you asking about other cities in Florida? It's a huge state, please be more specific.

I will be in Destin, Florida. the main priority is the reasonable budget. In my family, we are 4 members me & my wife and 2 kids. If you can suggest the good family trip location that would be great. The location will be nearby Destin or around 100 miles. we can travel to that place. Hope you can understand now.
Thanks

schmerl,

As I describe my family already, we are going on holiday trip after a long time. Mostly, Paragliding, Rafting, bungee jumping is our main priority or any other adventure.

Thanks

Destin and the surrounding area is all about the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Look into activities like kayaking, Dolphin cruises, fishing, water parks (Big Kahuna), parasailing, and other beach activities. Rafting and bungee jumping isn't something you'll find. Just Google "Destin activities" and you'll see lots of options.

For a 3 year old, some great beach toys are going to the ticket to lots of fun. Add in snacks, sunscreen and nap times and that is about all he or she will need for a great time. A dolphin cruise might work well but the more adventuresome activities will probably be a bit much.

Enjoy the beach.

Amberharis hijacked the thread so we don't really know his kids' ages. The original OP has a three year old.

Thanks, AustinTraveler, Sharing such a great information about beaches.
Actually, I used this thread to get real answers like the person they really spend their time on these places. Yes, I know how to search google but you know most of the content is available on the google marketed. In my priority forum is the best option to get real answers.

Thanks
