Family resort in keys

We are planning a trip to the Keys in March. Besides Hawks Cay are there any other family resorts. We have a 3 and 1 year old and are looking for a resort that has a kiddie pool. Thanks

I don't know about kiddie pool but Cheeca Lodge is an excellent family hotel in a much better location than Hawks Key.

Two new resorts opened this year, one in Marathon and one in Key Largo but the names have escaped me.

Ocean Reef Club is expensive but also family friendly and excellent.

The one that just opened in Marathon is Tranquility Bay and they are running a $199/night 2-BR cottage special. Their website is www.tranquilitybay.com and it looks gorgeous. They also mention kids programs.

Ocean Reef club is also private unless they have recently opened it up to the public. We stayed there twice although it was due to husband having a conference there.

Robbie, it has always been open to the public for rentals. The private thing is a marketing gimmick. The property would go out of business if they didn't.

Cheeca Lodge gets my vote.It has two freshwater pools, a kiddie pool and a great beach with lots of sand to play in. They also have a tot lot. Your children maybe too young for the kid's club so check. There is alot to do in Islamorada so the location is great. Have a great time.
