fall foilage

My daughter and I are planning a trip to Manhattan the first weekend in October. Will there be any fall foilage in Central Park?

Thank You

It's hard to predict how much fall color you'll see in Central Park during the first weekend of October. The amount of color is dependant on temperatures throughout the summer and how cool it gets in the weeks immediate preceeding the dates of your visit. Generally speaking, however, the first weekend in October is a bit early for "full color".

Chances are you'll be 2 or 3 weeks too early for decent fall foliage.

No - that's too early. The city is much warmer than the surroudning areas - and that's even a little early for them. Out leaves don;t usually turn until end Oct or early Nov.
