Everything you know about Maui

Where to stay, what you loved, where to eat, the cost of things, hiking and best surf lessons. Thanks!

Lots of sites for all islands & some just for Maui. Just ignore the Oahu info:

Get a copy of "Maui Revealed" from Wizard Publications. It will answer almost all your questions. Online at Wizardpub.com. We always buy their most recent edition when we go to the islands.

HelpDesk: It would help to know more about you, your hoped-for budget, and your likes/dislikes. Since you mention hiking and surf lessons, I assume that you are young-ish? Probably the quiet condos and early-bird dinners that appeal to seniors would not be your cup of guava. I always assume that people posting here have looked at some books and done some Internet searches and are looking for personal recommendations. If that's not the case, I can post info on my favorite guidebooks, too.
