gotribe, I believe I understand your question and if so here is what I do. I have the website for Fodor's smileys bookmarked. When I am typing a post (as I am doing right now) and want to insert an emoticon I merely click Favorites and go to the Bookmarked Fodor's smiley's website. Find the emoticon I want to use, look at what needs to be typed, click the Back button which takes me back to the Fodor's Board and the box I am typing in. I than type in the proper symbols for the emoticon.

Am sure there are better ways to do this but the way I do it works for me.

LoveItaly,

That is how I do it also. I guess one could print out the emoticon page and keep it nearby.

8-)

Oh, OK. I don't think I'll bother, but thanks.

LoveItaly,
Thanks, that's great idea. I was going to print a copy, but my color copier is not working.

Hi ronkala, printing out the emoticons is what I originally did but than you either have to pull it out of a drawer when you need it or have it laying on the desk and I am sort anal about having papers laying around LOL. Than one day the went off.

If you've got the emoticons booked, you can open them in a different window, copy and paste the necessary marks.
