emoticons..help please

I know this will seem really stupid, but please could someone tell me where to access the smileys etc on the Fodor's site.
I can't find them anywhere.
Thank you very much.
Aileen

Thank you!! Now i know this makes me seem utterly brainless, but.... how do i add them?
I tried typing the for a heart for example (wanted to use it to thank you ) but it came out as just that!
Does it make any difference that i use a mac?
Sorry!

aileenw,
Check if your smiley codes work by clicking "PREVIEW MY REPLY" before clicking "POST MY REPLY"

Oh how stupid i look now!!
When I previewed my reply in my previous post, the heart just appeared as the brackets with an L in the centre, but lo and behold it DID appear as a heart in my post after all!!
Many thanks,
Aileen

I still don't see how you find the smileys without clicking on John D's link, which I can't when I'm typing a reply. How do I get to a smiley when I'm typing in this box?
