Any info about the Shrine Auditorium and the surrounding area in Los Angeles? Websites with inside pictures of the Shrine are what I'm really interested in. I am going to the Emmy's and will be staying at the Radisson Midtown for 1 night. I heard it was near the Shrine. Has anyone ever been in the audience at the Emmy Awards. I would love any info you have.

Do you HAVE to be near the Shrine? It's not in the most desirable area.
I wouldn't stay at that Radisson if you paid me.

If really amazes me how a lot of posters on the site never have the brains to go to Google and punch in their request.

The Shrine is a lovely auditorium in a not so desirable area. Never been to the Emmy's there but actually had my graduation from med school at the Shrine a few years ago.

It is an older theater, doesn't look like much from the outside. the inside is lovely.

How long will you be in LA? If for more than one night I would stay somewhere else-maybe Santa Monica.
