In NYC and voting for Gore. A Bush (or Shrub) presidency truly scares me!

Not quite you cheap imposter, I would never support Browne.

I urge people to ignore early results and be sure to go to the polls, esp. if you will vote for Bush and/or Rick Lazio in NY.

In order for us to avoid the abomination of Hillary Clinton being our next senator here in NY, everybody must go out and vote for Rick Lazio.

I can understand people not being delighted w/ Lazio but he's better than Madame Hillary!!

George W. Bush leaves much to be desired but at least he has a shred of
decency and will end legalized infanticide (partial-birth).

Al Gore would sell his own mother for a high enough price. I don't think
George W. Bush would. Someone else's mother, maybe, but at least not his
own.

So, take that trip to the polls. Whether you walk, run, bike or drive, be sure to get out and vote!

Enjoy the scenery on your trip to the polls.

Voted outside of Boston, MA.....Extremely heavy turnout could be a record..many ballot questions that required thought ahead of time.. Voted for Al Gore..cannot trust Bush to stay out of my bedroom and afraid he will take us back 20 years. The unemployment rate in MA is 3.9...we have never had it so good thanks to the Democrats... The weather has been magnificent..Long lines at the polls still.. If you haven't voted yet please do....do not let experts, commentators or pundits tell you who is ahead and deter you..

You know, as you Gore supporters age, just PRAY that he and his evil party aren't in office. If you think Infantacide is bad, and it IS horrendous (Partial birth abortion, at 7-8 months) watch your backs! Assisted suicide will soon be legal, with Euthanasia close behind. Hmmmm, lets see, how interesting it will be to see who lives and who dies....

Elect Bush for a return to morality and true family values!!!

Being from Texas, my vote was for AL GORE! Know way too much about "Dubya"--got where he is because of his daddy's money & friends & OUR taxpayer dollars (Arlington Texas who built the Ballpart & raised the worth of the Texas Rangers) (Bush killed an environmentally friendly vehicle emissions control which cost Texas taxpayers MILLIONS)

What a headline that would be! Who do you think would have the story first, Drudge or the Enquirer?

Good Morning to you ALL! 12:26 Hawaii Standard Time.

Yes, my faith in the American electorate is renewed!

AL IS AHEAD IN THE POPULAR VOTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much for the spin-meisters.

Sharon, thanks for the info. I don't come down too hard on Ralph. I have been a fan of Ralph myself, and I support green and progressive candidates. However, there's NO WAY I could have THIS go to Dubya by default. I know way too much about his record, and about the unfortunate state of affairs in Texas.

Sadly, it doesn't look like Ralph will get his 5%.

So, now it looks like it's down to the last few Florida absentees. And that a Florida recount will happen. The Florida AG was just on camera asking for a "few hours" to get it done.

I may have to get some sleep myself, so you will all know the final results before me.

Isn't this incredible????????????

Good night, AMERICA!

Republicans, should this SOMEHOW go your way, DON'T GET TOO SMUG......This is by NO MEANS A MANDATE Tone down the rhetoric, look at issues, try to be reasonable. Peace. Work for the environment, try to be reasonable on gun control, and realize that we ALL care for our children. Put more $$$$ into education, and CONSIDER alternate energy development as a growth industry.

And by the way and for the record, if AL had not put in place the initial federal funding, the internet would NOT have happened. He NEVER said he invented it. That, again, was the work of Republican spin meisters. (Some of whom may soon be out of work.)

Good night, ALOHA, and God bless.
k
LOL!!!!!
ps The European press is just now commenting on this HISTORICAL EVENT! I'm off to lemonde.fr to read all about it. (Happy travels, all)

Nader won 90,000 votes in Florida. He wanted Bush to win. With the help of those absentee ballots from the wealthy overseas, he'll get his wish.

Well, at least I put my real e-mail address..and I've never been a soccer mom, but I am a senior citizen...and we have prescriptions that I suppose if it were for Bush I'll have to decide on whether I buy food or something to keep us alive.. Seriously..in anyother country there would be rioting in the sgtreets and protests. IF Busy wins Florida...he'll have Gore to contend with next time...because Gore has won the popular vote...ONLY IN AMERICA...

Still in New York- amazed that the race has been this close and still is not over! Can't people see what Bush has done to his own state- is that what you want for the country! How about one of the worst records in healthcare, education, the environment, capital punishment...not to mention that he's wrecked all of the businesses he's ever been involved with. So what the guy is charismatic- he couldn't even spell charismatic! And people keep talking about how he's bringing back morality to the White House and how he had youthful indiscretions- hello, the guy was still doing cocaine when he was 30 -that's not very youthful. Come on!!

I'm in the UK & we have to be 18 Yrs old to vote. Well one local election the silly computer at the 'Town Hall' sent out 'Ballot Cards' for all our children ! My 17 Yr old Daughter ( then ) voted as herself & my Wife & I each voted twice ! - once as ourselves - once as our other children. OK guys now tell me this was an abuse of democracy but it WAS a blow against the Tory Party and that's always a good thing !

Pragmatic Guy, you owe me an apology. Big time. I am in Bethesda, MD, so I definitely cancelled Rudy out.

Leave me alone. I'm grieving.
