Election Day
I'm curious, everyone. Where are you voting today, and how is the weather there? I'm voting in Baltimore, Maryland, and the weather is beautiful - - - currently about 65 degrees and sunny. Voter turnout is said to be fairly heavy. By the way, in a heavily democratic state, I'm casting my vote for Bush.

Interesting that so many of you are voting for Mr. Gore when he clearly considers you to be the enemy. All of you disgustingly successful people that dare to travel to Europe when there is so much inequity in the world.
Also, Cindy did not cancel out Rudy's vote because they are from different states. Typical uninformed liberal.

Casting my vote for Gore in Chicago. (The weather report said a chance for rain.) I'm hoping all of you in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan get out the vote for Gore. He'll need the support in your states especially...
But which ever party you support, I hope you get out there and vote. Ladies especially, think of all the women who dedicated their lives just so you would have the right to vote. Go and make your voice heard!

Well, my heart cries Al, but my head says W. In Va., the weather was cool and sunny today, and the voters turned out early. So, tonight's the night, and it may be interesting. Bill becomes a lame duck tomorrow, after 8 years. And perhaps Hillary will be the one in NY. Bill hopes to be by her side when she declares victory tonight at her campaign headquarters. Al's on the family farm, after a period of years away in DC, and W. is in the mansion in Austin, after fixing Laura coffee this morning, and reassuring mom and dad, whom he described as nervous. No word from the girls or Als' kids either. So, life goes on, and lets see how the race comes out. Have an interesting evening, and lets keep our fingers crossed for the right outcome. Ciao from our nation's capital. Leone

Barbara, why is it "unbelievable" that 10 or 12 people have said they will vote for Gore? He, like Bush, will get 40,000,000+ votes! Grow up, woman!
I happened to choose Gore after a lot of research and soul-searching and I respect those of you who chose Bush, Nader, et al. (OK, I have a problem with Buchanan but that's my personal issue!) The whole point is to VOTE! I really do hate those whiney folks who complain but don't exercise their rights. If Dubya is entrusted with the presidency, then so be it. The people will have spoken.
(Remember that even in "landslide" elections of past (Reagan '84 for example), the loser got tens of millions of votes. As long as we have two dominant parties, that will be the case.)
