Eating lobster at Cape Cod Staying in Brewster

We are thinking of staying in Brewster. Where is a moderate priced place to eat lobster? Also, does anyone have any hotel reccomendations for 2 adults visiting in April?

I don't know that part of the Cape very well, but Orleans is a very pleasant place to visit, as is Chatham. Orleans has a Cooke's Seafood, which is always reliable, if not at all picturesque.

April is early for the Cape, and you may have trouble finding places open. I hope my answering here will move your query up to the top where others may see it.

Hi Skikat,

We always stay at Fort Hill in Eastham, which is not too far from Brewster, so I'll make some suggestions about places that we like to eat that might work for you. First, I'm not sure what moderate price is to to you, but I'll assume you don't mind paying for the lobster but do not need to pay for great ambiance. Unfortunately both Arnold's in Eastham and Mac's Shack in Wellfleet (great "shacky" places to eat lobster) do not open until May but you might like Mahoney's Atlantic Grill on Main Street in Orleans that serves a pan roasted lobster and often has entertainment, or Finely JP's in Wellfleet. J.P.'s 1½ lb. Lobster Cataplana: a Portuguese dish made with a spicy Cajun Andouille sausage tomato sauce with littleneck clams, served over rice Half Lobster $22 Whole Lobster $29

Hope this helpss!

If you plan to go to Provincetown for the day, have lunch or dinner at the Lobster Pot -

LOVE the Lobster Pot in Ptown!
Brewster we ate at a clam shack and for the life of me, I can't remember it.
It was next door to a fancy seafood restaurant that was really good too.
Gosh, I love the Cape!

I'll second the Lobster Pot in Provincetown, open April-Nov. It will take you about 40 minutes to drive there from Brewster.
