Dupont Circle Hotels

Going to DC for a weekend in July - three teens and two parents. We're looking for an upscale hotel near Dupont Circle. Favorite hotels? Any recs?

Check out kimptonhotels.com - they have several in DC.

Great group of hotels with nice perks. Join their free loyalty club for even more perks including member only specials.

Deb nailed it. Klimpton's Hotel Madera is in the heart of Dupont and is wonderful.

If you want really upscale and are willing to walk a few blocks, then the Jefferson. Otherwise some of the above references will probably be adequate for you.

We stayed at the Westin. Very nice and I would stay there again.

I like Kimpton hotels too. 4 star and boutique-y. Palomar, Madera, Topaz and the Carlyle are all in the Dupont Circle vicinity.

If you want to go more upscale, there is a Ritz Carleton on 22nd Street.

There is a Four Seasons on the eastern end of nearby Georgetown proper.

The Jefferson is a classic old school gorgeous hotel but not in the Dupont Circle neighborhood which has a more residential feel as well as a great selection of restaurants.
