Drop-off laundry NYC?

Any suggestions for a drop-off laundry reasonably close to Times Square?

Thanks!

Most all NYC dry cleaners have laundry service.

Times Square is primarily a business district so you won't find any cleaners right there. There are some listed in the area if you go to:

newyork.citysearch.com/yellowpages/results/New_York_NY/page1.html?gcats=130&cats=287&sorted=dist

But expect prices to be sky high due to high rents. I would call to get an idea before taking stuff in (it might not be much less than having your hotel do it).

You will find a few if you walk over to and up 9th Ave. 9th Ave is more residential and TONS of restaurants and shops.

Thanks for these replies! I thought I had posted my appreciation already. I'll try 9th Ave.

Yes. There are a number of them on 9th. I can think off hand of one between 45th and 46th, another between 47th and 48th, and I think there are several more as well. They are amazingly cheap. When we stayed on 45th for up to a month several times and didn't have our own laundry, I started out doing my own at the laundramats, but discovered they'd do it for me for little or no extra cost.

Thank you, thank you NeoPatrick! Do you recall the turn-around time?

Always the same day. I suppose if you said you needed it within a few hours, they could probably accommodate you.

Thanks NeoPatrick. We easily found one on our way walking down to the Circle cruise dock. $14 and few hours later we were all set!
