Hoping to find helpful Fodor tips for our road trip this year. We will leave the end of September and have 3-4 weeks to travel. we will be spending time with relatives in Houston so Texas will be taken care of by family but I am looking for your help finding some great sites to see along the way in Indiana;Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana that we might not find by ourselves.. We will cross at Windsor/Detroit and work our way to St. Louis and take Highway 55 to Baton Rouge then to Texas. We like to travel off the beaten path somewhat and will have our trusty Garmin to keep us from getting too lost.When we drove to California 2 years ago I got a lot of helpful information from this site so look forward to your help again
