Driving and Sights

My Wife and I will be driving from Phoenix to Sedona in May. It will be mid morning and I was wondering if you have any suggestions of sights to see along the way. Also on our trip where can we stop to get some amazing Fry Bread? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If your title were a little more clear -

Driving WHERE

people with info might bother to look at your query.

My DH and I did the same drive, but instead of going right to Sedona, we drove to Flagstaff then back down through the Red River Canyon and into Sedona. Beautiful!

Ditto on Oak Creek canyon - great scenic drive along the river, very green and forest-y - I love it. Have fun!

I responded to your question about the fry bread in your other post asking the same question a few days ago. No fry bread worth outside of Phoenix or in Sedona. Get it before you leave Phoenix.
