donatello hotel

Has anyone ever stayed at the Donatello Hotel near Union Square. I found a good rate off the iternet, but I have been surprised by pictures before.

We stayed there several years ago, also due to good special rate. Loved it! Beautiful decor and larger room than some of the hotels in the area. Non-existent lobby, I think. We would have stayed again, but were never able to duplicate the good deal.

I really meant minimal lobby. Where did you find the good rate?
