It is very far from Honolulu. Most people go there to relax and unwind since it is so far from the city. There is a luau there, the Paradise Cove Luau.

It looked beautiful when we visited last year. My teenage son even liked it! I thought it was too far away from the city, Diamond Head etc. It has a beautiful protected private beach. Sure it is nextstore to Paradise Cove. That would not matter to us as I don't think these are the best "attractions" in Hawaii. You should call your concierge desk, (then you will know what to expect).

We thought the Ihilani was gorgeous. It was our first stop on our honeymoon. However, we purposely chose it because it was AWAY from Waikiki and Honolulu. We wanted peace and quiet. It was fun snorkeling (they have free equipment to use) in the lagoon, and every morning you can go feed the fish in the waterways on the grounds. I've heard great things about the spa there. Later in the day, they have someone singing Hawaiian tunes by the poolside.
