Disney (Orlando) for college kids

My boyfriend and I are planning on going to Walt Disney World & Universal for spring break '04. Any advice on cheap hotels (and airfare) and best attractions to check out?

To get the cheapest rooms I'd use priceline (go to www.biddingfortravel.com) and for excellent Disney advice & tips on how to save $$ money check out www.mousesavers.com. And there's also disboards.com that discuss everything Disney Universal.

Don't miss out on Pleasure Island - Disney's adult nightclub resort. Very fun to barhop - but don't miss out by being inside at midnight. Every night they countdown as if it's New Year's Eve in the open air area - complete with tons of confetti and some fireworks.

Very fun!

I think you would love Universal's Islands of Adventure, it has so much different stuff, there is something for everyone. The regular Universal park I found to be a little outdated. Just my opinion. Have a great time !!!

Definitely do Universal as opposed to Disney and stay on property if you can. We stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort (Loews) and it was cheaper than the Hard Rock but both owned by Loews. Staying on the property gives you special perks at Universal, well worth it!
