Dinner in Denver
Any recommendations for a nice place to eat on a Saturday night in July? We'll be coming from Rocky Mnt Park and will be staying at the Brown Palace. I'd love someplace "hip and trendy".

Zengo! Hip and trendy and good food and drinks. It's Asian/Latin fusion. Great cucumber mojitos. It's somewhat behind Union Station at Platte River, kind of long but nice walk on a summer evening. You can also take the 16th mall bus to Union Station.

You can also try LoDo for "hip and trendy". It's more a twenty-something area of bars and eateries. Go to Larimer Square for more slightly upscale restaurants, like Tamayo's, or buffalo burgers at Ted's Montana Grill. Or in the Pavilions, a newer outdoor mall downtown, you could hit Wolfgang Puck's. It's always good. Going the other direction, the Avenue Grill on 17th Street is good, too.

For a memorable experience go to Domo--country Japanese. You'll need a taxi--and maybe directions--and reservations. It is a beautiful place with spectacular food and sake.
Glad to read the other suggestions also.

I wouldn't say LoDo is mainly 20-somethings. There are lots of 30's and even older. My husband and I are 50 and we enjoy going to the many places to eat there. True--we don't hit the dance clubs--nightclubs. Trios Enoteca on Wynkoop is one of our favorites--a wine bar with some food and live jazz.
