Buell Theatre nearby restaurants

Does anyone have a suggestion for a pre or post show restaurant? We like most kinds of food. Thanks.

Hotel Teatro, right next to the Buell, is very good--I think there are two, Kevin Taylor and Prima. I've never been impressed with the place around the corner, right across from the theater doors--pedestrian overpriced food--but it's ok for drinks and dessert.

I think you're talking about Denver? You might want to repost with the city name in the title to get more replies.

1515 Market Grill is nearby and has wonderful food/atmosphere. We have loved La Fondue in the past--don't know if it's still located downtown?

Another option is appetizers and drinks before the show at McCormick's then after dinner drinks at the Cruise Room (both located in the Oxford Hotel). McCormick's has an amazing happy hour appetizer menu, especially if you like seafood.

Vesta Dipping Grill is another place that we enjoy and they're good about hurrying dinner if they know you need to be at a show.

The restaurants on Larimer Square are also an option, just a couple of blocks' walk from the Buell. You could choose from Tamayo's new-age Mexican/Spanish, or Ted's Montana Grill for buffalo, etc., or more upscale places, too. (Avoid Lime for food, though-- yechy experiences there twice. It can be a smoky twenty-something bar scene, if that's what you want.)
Or the free shuttle on the 16th street mall would take you up and down that street for choices at the Pavilions, like Maggiano's Italian, or into LoDo for the ChopHouse and many, many others.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We don't get into Denver for dinner as much as we should and these all sound like good choices.
