Dining in Stowe

I also recommend The Shed for a casual meal. Good micro-brews also. Miguel's Stowe Away and the Cactus Cafe are also good. The Matterhorn, while more of a bar, has really good wood fired pizza (or did last year anyway!). If you're interested in trying authentic Chinese food, drive over to Barre and try The Single Pebble. You'll need reservations. It's also worth a drive over to Plainfield for some SOUL FOOD at the River Run Cafe. http://www.riverrunsoul.com/road_tour.htm
If you venture over to Burlington, you'll find some great options there too-if interested in recommendations, please post back!

For great woodfired pizza try Pie in the Sky on mountain road (Opposite Golden eagle resort)
if you go to www.gostowe.com and select dining you can read many of the local restaurant menus online.
Have fun

we are British but chose to get married in Stowe at the beautiful church. There are loads of great eating places to suit every taste and pocket. We had our very small wedding dinner at The Blue Moon Cafe (near the big yellow house we rented) it didn't look very posh at first but at night it was romantic and the food was superb, service fantastic. Further down the backstreet from there near the bandstand there was a little cafe which served fantasticlunch time food and so cheap. Enjoy I can't wait to go back - lucky you.
