Dining Downtown Atlanta

I will be staying at The Westin Peachtree Center hotel and would like to make reservations for dinner. I would prefer something within safe walking distance for single female. I have eaten at Azio's and Dailey's on previous trips. I would appreciate any new ideas.

Thanks

FAB--French American Bistro. It moved from Lenox Mall--was Brasserie Le Close in that location.

Was that where we had lunch, OWJ? If so, I sure loved our lunch. And once again, what is the name of the restaurant where we had dinner, the one that has a sister restuarant in Florence?

LI--Yes, that was where we had the delicious mussels and fries. (At least that's what I'm sure I had--was my favorite shopping lunch!)

Antica Posta in Buckhead was the Italian restaurant we took you to. Aren't you going to come visit so we have an excuse to go back. (OWJ2 and I have been back but it's been awhile. It was just as wonderful as when you went.)

Yes, the mussels and fries! Ambrosia, dear one.

And the Antica Posta was fabulous too, I still think of our evening there. I get hungry just thinking about all the great restaurants we went too. Even the first night when my flight got in so late, the omelette and fries tasted soooo good!

This year..when it works out for you two. I need to see you two again and of course those two precious girls!

My apoligies, loveyblue, I didn't mean to highjack your thread. And I have no idea if either restaurant is walking distant for you but I found the taxi rates in Atlanta were rather reasonable. Have fun!

Oh, I am glad for your replies.

Several years ago I stayed in Buckhead and I also ate at the FAB at Lenox Square. I will check out their new location. I had a wonderful meal there and the best fries since my last trip to France.
