Denver hotel help needed
I'm going to Denver for a family reunion next month, where the hub of activity will be near Coors Field. I'm concerned about the parking hassles/expenses associated with downtown hotels. Is there an area or even specific hotel within an easy 10 or 15 minute drive from Coors Field that can be recommended? We are looking for something reasonably priced, a step up from a Motel 6 type place, but not a Ritz level place either! Safe, clean and convenient are the priorities. Thanks in advance!

One I know personally is the Warwick Hotel, which has underground parking. It is a nice value. Good looking and better than its price would indicate, because it is a tad out of the downtown loop.
I am sure there are others. Have you looked on-line for downtown hotels with parking? Maybe the Sherston? Or in Cherry Creek? There are some good chain hotels in those neighborhoods to research.

Many years ago now we stayed at what was the Comfort Inn across the street from the Molly Brown. I think it is something else now. Parking was $15/day I think--still less that MB, and you could go in and out.
Can anyone comment recently on the La Quinta that is somewhere near downtown and Coors?

The "Are We There Yet" package offers free valet parking, a $25 gas card and other amenities.

That package at the Monaco is $325 per night for the cheapest room. That's way out of my league.
I'm looking at hotels in the Cherry Creek area that have free parking. If anyone has other areas I should check out that would be priced around $100/night with free parking, please let me know. Thanks!

You won't find free parking at a downtown hotel for $100.
Try these three. I know there is free parking at the first two, not sure of the third:

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm curious. We stayed at the Adams Mark in downtown Denver (right on 16th St.) and had parking (don't remember whether or not we were charged for it) about seven years ago. I know the hotel is no longer the Adams Mark, but can someone tell me what hotel it might be now? It had a good restaurant and another area where we had breakfast a couple times. It really was ideal in terms of location and amenities.
