Days Inn Mesa,AZ ???

Looking to spend 1 night in Phoenix after landing at 9 PM and head to Flafstaff the next day. I just came up with Days Inn 2 rooms non smoking with 2 queen beds each room for total of $115.04 taxes in. At Higley and Main St in Mesa or same as above but at 21636 North 26th Ave, I-17 exit 215B Phoenix for $180.98 taxes in . Is Mesa that bad or that far out of the way that I should pay approx. $65.00 extra to stay at the North 26th Ave one?

Higley is pretty far from the airport, and if you're heading to Flag you'd just have to backtrack to get back to the 17. I would recommend staying near the Airport or near I-17 in Northern Phoenix.

Thanks, I thought it looked to be a fair bit out. Does anyone know how far time and or miles it is from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

warrsher,
go to google maps and enter "3400 e sky harbor blvd phoenix az" use "find businesses" to find nearby hotels.

You'll see them on a map and some have reviews.

I'd probably pick the Holiday Inn Express.

Thanks Folks
I had been to Google Map but had not used that feature. That makes it real easy. I checked out Travelodge at 1624 N Black Canyon Rd. also and that is more to the direction we will be going the following morning. Thanks again.

The Days Inn in Mesa, AZ is in a awful area and its out of the way from the PHX airport and even though it is high season, $115 is way too much to be spending for that hole!
There is a brand new La Quinta Inn & Suites at I-10 and 5 minutes from the airport in the direction that you will be going and its $107 for 2 Queens beds with free breakfast and internet.

Hope this helps for you warrsher!

Mesa is out even though the $115.00 was total for 2 rooms( $57.50 each )
What about Travelodge 1624 N Black Canyon Rd.The rates are as low as $55.00 per room. Any info on that Travelodge or area would be appreciated.
