Daycare in or around Disney

I am traveling to Orlando Feb 2005 and wanted to know if anyone can recommend anywhere that my daughter could go to day/evening care for one or two days as she won't be old enough to do some of the planned activities. Plus she loves "mini club". We are from U.K so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is a place by the Florida Mall called Parent's Time Out. However, it's not only nighttime, they are open all day. Have you checked with your hotel? A lot of them offer babysitting services and kids camps.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Most of the "daycare" centers are long term and have huge waiting lists. The one I listed above is a transient place.

If you need an in room sitter try calling "Fairy Godmothers" at 407-277-3724. Our sitter from there Vera Kennedy was great - they were expensive but worth it to get an evening out by ourselves.

We used Fairy Godmothers too. The sitter came to our hotel room with a suitcase full of toys. I was reluctant to use an in room sitter but she put me at ease.

Thanks for that Padams, my husband has some concerns about in room sitting so maybe this will help allay his fears.
