Courtyard by Marriott

Any reviews on this Hotel? It is located at I-17 and North Black Canyon Highway. I'll be there in late January.

Thanks

I-17 and Black Canyon are the same highway in Phoenix....sure Courtyard by Marriott will be fine, although right on the highway along with loads of other hotels/motels....if you are in the midst of leaving town you'll be in the right area to leave, if you are staying in Phoenix there are alot nicer areas...20th Street and Camelback area has a Courtyard by Marriott and it is alot nicer location and area.

Hi Debbie,
I stayed at this hotel several times while travelling for business in Phoenix. The location was good for me because it was close to several places that I needed to visit. It's a fairly good Courtyard. I always choose the king suite on the top floor because I was there for 1 - 2 weeks at a time and I wanted extra room. Also, the suite has a fridge and microwave if I recall correctly. There are a couple of nearby restaurants that you can actually walk to - one was Mexican and pretty good altho I've forgotten the name. The other was a steak place that was also good.
The outstanding thing about this hotel is that there's a nice group of people that work in the dining room. They're quite friendly, even called me by name when I returned.
I would not hesitate to go back to this property. I'll also through in that there are better properties in other areas particularly in the Camelback area and Scottsdale. I just got a good rate at Marriott Mountain Shadows.
I hope this helps you!

Thanks Emily for the information. I think I'll book this Hotel, as I have to be near the city for business. Also, it's close to the highway and I can go back and forth with ease to the office.

I got an excellent rate, I was quoted $69 a night for the Government rate.

You can get a Hilton for about $33 a night on Priceline.
