Cooperstown hotels

My sister and I are visiting the Cooperstown area to settle our father's estate. The Hojo's we stayed in on our last trip seems to be booked. We're looking for a decent , inexpensive place to stay, mid-week. Anyone?? Thanks, as always.

I can't remember where we stayed but it was about halfway up the lake. It was inexpensive until mid June, then there was a big increase in price as I imagine all other places do as well.

If St. Johnsville isn't too far away, try The INn by the Mill. We stay there every summer when we attend the Glimmerglass Opera. Their mid-week rates should be pretty reasonable and you won't believe how the kitchen is stocked. Tell the proprietors, Judith and Ron Hezel, that I recommended you.

Thank you all. We found a B&B, also called the Hickory Grove Inn that fits the bill. I will check out St. Johnsville as I'm sure we'll be up that way a few more times. THanks.
