Yes, I posted the other day the same thing but for Maui, i'm getting so confused! I'm looking for a condo in Oahu that is on the ocean, in a more secluded but yet safe area and somewhere where we can just chill after the cruise. is there such a thing? I was told to go to the northshore or winward side of the island. Since there is very little mentioned about Oahu on all of my forums i'm getting the idea that maybe Oahu isn't worth staying on. Advice? Thanks for putting up with me!!!!!!

It is truly oceanfront... actually BEACHFRONT, as the sand will come up almost to your door. It's secluded and VERY casual... hammocks everywhere... just a wonderful spot to chill .

O'ahu is great. It just depends on what you want to do. I have a trip report from our stay on the north shore last year... if you're interested I'll pull it up.

I LOVE Oahu but only know the Honolulu and Waikiki area is why I didn't reply earlier, not at all meaning that it "isn't worth staying on".
