Comfort Inn Sea World Area??

Any comments on the Comfort Inn Sea World? We tried for Comfort Suites Mission Valley, but sold out. We are not looking for fancy, just safe and relatively clean. We have 2 small kids, so will spend most of our time out & about. This place is reasonable. Thanks in advance.

What street is it on? A lot of "Sea World" hotels aren't actually right by Sea World. The Holiday Inn Sea World, for example is in a not very pleasant kind of industrial area down the road a ways. There are many other hotels near the comfort inn mission valley in an area called hotel circle and many on pacific highway near downtown have shuttles to sea world.

Why don't you try Hotel Circle. Many hotels in the vicinity and close to major attractions.

It's OK (safe convenient by car) right next to the freeway though. If you stay ask for a north facing room. Can't really walk to anywhere though. With 2 small ones though it may not matter. All three Comfort Inn/Suites Mission Valley, Sea World and Old Town are within a couple of miles from each other and are all right next to a major highway. CI Sea World and Old Town are really close to the highway and probably very noisy. There are a couple of other Suite type places on the same road as the CI MV. Can't remember the names though.

I think we stayed at that place and it was in a real crummy location. Many of the motels in San Diego have been built where ever land is cheap.
